From years of experience in raising my kids in athletics and watching them participate in both school and club sports programs, I know how important it is for them to build the skills and have the mindset at an early age that will help them reach their full potential. Reaching Athletic PotentialAs our kids grow up participating in various sports programs, they have coaches who build great athletic skills and character, but they also have coaches that aren’t as knowledgeable and don’t share our values. As parents, we want to help our kids build a foundation of athletic skill and conditioning essential to the sports they play and also introduce them to optimal attitudes and mindsets. A well-equipped athlete will take ownership of their path in sports and achieve their full potential. ONE Fitness has developed a unique sports camp that will build essential skills and character in your young athlete. Camp DetailsRegister for the Young Athletes Conditioning Camp, a group training class from ONE Fitness that begins June 4 and runs through July 18. Campers will meet for 6 weeks in hour-long sessions on Tuesday & Thursday mornings--there will be no class the July 4 week. Workout sessions have been designed to improve the athletic essentials of core stability, strength, speed and agility using safe and proper form. This camp is a great opportunity for young Billings athletes to receive group training and individual attention from a personal trainer. Attitude and MindsetCampers will be introduced to a number of concepts that are important for young athletes to incorporate into their overall attitude and mindset. Short discussion sessions will be held on the following subjects as well as others that flow naturally from them:

Laura, thanks for you questions. Unfortunately, this class is for 5th through 8th grade students. I am teaching a Run Strong class this summer and it has lots of the same components. It's 6-7 am on tues/thurs. Go to https://elitesst.com/ for more information. Don't let the name "run strong" scare you away. I have soccer, volley and baseketball players as well.
